Since its development in 1986, LEX® has continued to support the field
of advanced technology for more than 30 years.

LEX® is a base material developed, manufactured, and sold by Nippon Chuzo for use in ultra-high-precision equipment. The greatest feature of LEX® is its extremely small dimensional change (thermal deformation) caused by temperature change. The LEX® series ranges from LEX-ZERO®, which has zero thermal deformation near room temperature, to LEX55, which has about half the deformation of steel. LEX® has excellent machinability and is used as a support structure for the main units of semiconductor exposure devices. LEX® is also used in parabolic antennas for communications, radars, and other applications, playing a role in the development of the space defense field.

In the field of precision instruments, aerospace, and other advanced technologies, the demand for high-precision components and equipment is constant and stringent.
